Team of the Tournament win for Whangārei Boys' High School

"Kia ora. We would like to thank the Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi for their financial contribution towards our League Nationals campaign. As we only had three weeks to organise this trip, our main focus for the team was to gain experience and exposure. Although the team did not win any games, they came away with the prestigious "Team of the Tournament" trophy. A trophy that truly reflects their great on and off field behaviour, and the true sportsmanship that our boys displayed at all times. They were a real pleasure to be with. They did themselves, their whānau, their hapū, their iwi and the school proud. Thank you again for the assistance received. Ngā mihi," Dulcie Thompson (Whangārei Boys High School).
