Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi facilitates and delivers important health services for all Ngāpuhi who live in Kaikohe and surrounding areas.
Formerly know as Te Hau Ora O Kaikohe, the organisation was rebranded and joined the Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi group in July 2015 as a subsidiary of the Rūnanga, alongside Ngāpuhi Iwi Social Services and the Ngāpuhi Asset Holding Company.
Te Hau Ora O Ngāpuhi works from a community development model where everyone works together to achieve common and shared goals. This includes providing services and support for the 'young and vulnerable in society and our local communities'.
To support this model, the organisation utilises outcomes based frameworks that focus on shared measures, and working together as a community to encourage positive results for whānau.
The organisation strives to pursue their kaupapa of "Healthy whānau and Vibrant communities in Ngapuhi"
